Miss Frampton: What is the problem with your vehicle?

Holly: My problem was that the wheels were moving up and down on the body.  I solved this problem by putting Sellotape on them and then they rolled better.

Miss Frampton: Did you solve your problem.

Term 2 Maths Other Strand - Measurement (Length)

Compare length using descriptive language.

Express measurements by counting non-standard units.

This is me estimating how many 1cm cubes my hand span, longest finger and shortest finger are.
I then measured using the 1cm cubes to check how accurate I was.

I made a 18cm ruler using grided paper and cardboard.
I then used this ruler to measure many different things around the room.
